The inspiration behind Pellucid Editorial is the need of content creators to communicate clearly and thus make meaning transparent; especially when communicating in a language other than that of the creator, meaning and clarity can be easily lost or obscured as a result of translation.
I provide copyediting and proofreading services for just about any written word material, including material originally created in a non-English language.
A copyeditor can include within scope anything from grammar, punctuation and spelling to stylistic and even structural changes. Generally speaking however, the copyeditor should steer clear of stylistic and structural changes unless the client or author has expressly included that in the brief.
